Where do you go when you can not go anywhere? This was the question I kept asking myself as Covid lingered from weeks to months. Newspapers were reporting rising figures of deaths. Additionally, family and friends started testing positive for the disease. While concerns about food shortages, racial tensions, domestic violence, and other political stresses made running away seem all the more imperative. However, the option of leaving became less available to me. Postcards became the answer to the question. Culled from vintage postcards, the idealized family escape was realized.
